ESO Helper - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is applicable to the ESO Helper app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by an individual Moon Sugar (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported Service. This Service is provided "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
1.1 Technical Information
The Application collects certain information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
- Device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, the time spent on the Application, crash reports and other statistics
- Device ID, device model, device manufacturer, operating system, system configuration information, battery life and other general technical data about the device
- Advertising ID
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of the Application, for troubleshooting, and for internal analytics and reporting purposes.
The Application doesn't gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Technical Information doesn't allow the Service Provider to uniquely identify the user. It isn't possible to unambiguously link the tracking of actions or technical data to an Advertising ID or another IDs and specific users. Therefore, in this case, such data isn't considered personal data.
1.2. Personal Information Provided by You
The personal information that the Application collects depends on the context of your interactions with Application, the choices you make and functions you use. The personal information the Application collects may include your Email address.
2. Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, don't have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
3. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided and Technical Information data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.
4. Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of Technical Information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Advertising ID is used for advertising and analytics purposes and can be reset or limited through your device settings.
You may fully delete your Personal Information Provided by You by contacting the Service Provider via email [email protected]. Your data will be deleted within a reasonable time, typically within 7 business days. Please note that you may lose access to some Application functions.
5. Children
The Service Provider doesn't use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 18.
The Application doesn't address anyone under the age of 18. The Service Provider doesn't knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 18 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider [email protected] so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
6. Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. You should only access the Application within a secure environment.
7. Links to Other Sites
The Application may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by the Service Provider. Therefore, the Service Provider strongly advises you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. the Service Provider has no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
8. Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
The Application doesn't use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the Application may use third party code and libraries that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services.
9. Manage Personal Data Settings: EEA/UK/Switzerland or US (certain states)
9.1 Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent only where we rely on consent as the legal basis for specific processing activities (for example, certain analytics or personalised advertising, where applicable). Consent is given through a clear affirmative action in the Application. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time in the Application by going to Privacy Policy → Manage Personal Data Settings. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
9.2. US Privacy Rights (e.g., California)
If you are a resident of certain US states, you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. You can exercise these choices in the Application settings (Privacy Policy → Manage Personal Data Settings).
10. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
